gpush: A simple bash script to push code to git server

This script enables you to perform:

  • git add .
  • git commit -m $(date) OR with custom message with gpush "msg"
  • git push -u origin master

All in one go.

To use, just add it to your local or root bin directory and give proper permissions with sudo chmod +x gpush

Usage:

  • gpush to add, commit with date in message
  • gpush "msg" to add custom message.
